To supervise from 100 to 150 inmates. I was responsible for all movement of these inmates. Had to make sure that SCDC rules was being followed and keep as much harmony as possible between the inmates under my watch. I received a South Carolina Can Do Award for preventing a riot from happening on One of Leiber rec. fields. I've learned a lot from my training as a correctional officer, and have a lot to offer young boys and males that are heading down the wrong direction. Especially young boys and teenagers. I had the responsibility of keeping the streets and subdivisions in the Town of Summerville Clean. I worked under the leadership of Mr. Harry Avant, who is currently retired from being the Street Department department head. Mr. Avant entrusted 2 trucks, 1 Front end Loader, and 4 employees to my watch & care. I operated the front end loader. We took pride in keeping out town clean and our citizens happy. Mr. Berlin G Myers was the mayor then but he's now retired. I had the responsibility of keeping the streets and subdivisions in the Town of Summerville Clean.
