      In support of the Spotlight Initiative under Pillar number 6 which aims to eliminate the public health concern of GBV amongst girls in different provinces across the country. Key achievements were; • Wrote 3 Spotlight Initiative (Pillar 6) Policy Briefs for use by UN Women. • Developed action plans for GBV interventions in high-risk groups and recommending measures for special attention. • Coordinated the training and management of data collection for the GBV and COVID-19 surveys carried out in the two provinces. • Led the research team in data collection in Manicaland and Mashonaland West Provinces towards pillar 6 of the Spotlight Initiative. • Carried out In-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussion and a Survey on Gender Based Violence Services in the two Provinces: Manicaland and Mashonaland West Provinces, Zimbabwe. • Carried out In-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions, Survey on the impact of COVID-19 on GBV in the two Provinces: Manicaland and Mashonaland West Provinces, Zimbabwe. • 3 Journal Articles written under review with respective publishers. • Facilitated the training of CSO`s and Program Innovators against Gender Based Violence in Manicaland and Mashonaland West Provinces on the adoption of recommendations from the research Show less
