      Worked in an indigenous community through the charity Raleigh International, completing the first ever baseline report of the community alongside one other researcher. Focal points were demographics, education and employment. The community spoke no English so we flexed some rusty Spanish, alongside a lot of improvisation from their primary language, Cabecar. We presented our findings to a number of NGOs, schools and communities. This focused upon the Western epistemological dominance in relation to environmental conservation, and the necessity to understand more ontological and relational approaches to nature, demonstrated by the community we studied.
