Henry is a great advisor with a calm demeanour. We hired him to advise us and litigate on our behalf in regards to a white collar crime. His experience came through in spades in dealing with the accused attorneys and explaining what the FBI and State's Investigators would do next. I'd recommend him without hesitation.

Daniel Lynch

We hired new attorneys after Henry left us, but he has never been replaced. Henry is a bright and energetic advocate and was a joy to work with. His clients can count on a well-prepared lawyer who will always make their interests the first priority.

In the white collar area, I handle both the defense at trial and appeal of bank, mail, securities and tax fraud matters, as well as public corruption charges. I conduct internal investigations of entities and institutions as well as employee interviews. I frequently handle complex commercial litigation and specialize in business divorces. I’ve handled matters related to breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, fraudulent transfers, alter ego, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, False Claims Act claims (qui tam cases), breach of contract, franchise law, labor and employment disputes, insurance coverage, class action consumer cases, construction litigation, government contracting, securities and bankruptcy and receivership proceedings. I also assist businesses in creating and implementing compliance programs.I provide assistance to individuals and businesses in the cannabis industry. I serve as outside general counsel to more than a dozen cannabis companies in both the THC and CBD industries. I also have represented clients in various enforcement proceedings brought by the Marijuana Enforcement Division of the Colorado Department of Revenue and Colorado Attorney General's office.I have significant experience in government contracting and have represented businesses in civil and criminal investigations stemming from contracts those businesses signed with various governmental entities. For many small businesses including banks, e-commerce companies, vacation rental management businesses, physician practices and even golf courses, I serve as outside general counsel. I advise companies on employment matters, contractual disputes, litigation, and have assisted with investigations from various state labor agencies. I have represented construction litigation clients from multinational construction conglomerates to small local contractors in a wide variety of disputes.

Stetler, Duffy & Rotert, Ltd. is a premier litigation boutique where outstanding trial lawyers offer a proven record of success. We represent individual clients and companies of all sizes, from Fortune 100 corporations to family-owned businesses. Whether the matter involves commercial litigation, a grand jury investigation, or an enforcement action at any level of government, our attorneys respond to clients’ needs and vigorously protect their interests. Chambers & Partners, the internationally respected evaluation agency for law firms, describes SDR as a “phenomenal litigation boutique” that is a “leading force” among all law firms in Chicago. Relying on opinions gathered in confidence from our peers and competitors, Chambers & Partners reports that our “team of eight courtroom experts has expertise in every aspect of state and federal litigation, at both the trial and appellate stage.” This reputation earned SDR recognition as “a go-to firm for high-stakes litigation.” In 2010, Chambers & Partners ranks SDR as one of only two “Band One” law firms in Chicago for White Collar Crime and Government Investigations and the year before we were the only “Band One” firm in Chicago. That opinion is widely shared.
