As a manager for the company's Maritime & Logistics Division in Los Angeles, California, I manage the Los Angeles Cruise Terminal located in San Pedro, CA where we provide a variety of services ranging from standard Cruise Ship Operations, securing of the facility, mobile patrols, inspections checkpoints, security screening, and U.S. Customs escorts all which are regulated by U.S. Coast Guard. Updating terminal management on day-to-day operations and incidents. Worked alongside multiple agencies such as Los Angeles Port Police, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs & Boarder, ILWU & PMA Members. Scheduling staff for operations based on operation needs. Enter payrolls for all employees which can range from 15 – 200 employees depending on the number of terminals and operation being ran. Handling employee grievances with the union to ensure the company complied with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Conducted training for all new employees and current employees to meet MTSA and X-Ray Operator standards, and any ongoing training.
