Hank and I started at Neptune around the same time and ended up frequently working together on our remote team. Beyond proving to be a highly competent developer who was often the backbone of a changing FE team, Hank’s positive personality really set him apart as a colleague. In addition to simply having a pleasant demeanor in all of our interactions, he was endlessly cheerful, helpful, patient, and ready to jump in to brainstorm solutions on anything that came up. Our dev team was small, very driven, and sometimes had a punishing schedule but Hank made the best of it and was always willing to put in the time necessary to get things done correctly. It was also inspiring to see him constantly trying to further improve his skills, learn more about the industry trends, and better himself. In my opinion, people like Hank are core members that pull together successful teams and make work enjoyable.

Henry has made himself available as a lead to our group for the better part of a year. During that time he has demonstrated an uncanny ability to maintain a positive environment during the toughest of times. He provided key support and knowledgeability in the development of an extensive 3-month project and maintained a super positive environment during what was thought to be a doomed project and ultimately as a team we were able to surpass its delivery goals. Even when the chips are down you can count on him maintaining a professional, supportive, and knowledgable role in any project.
