Site HSE Manager for Client ( Turner and Townsend) on a Data centre project. • Coordinate the activities of the Site HSE Officers to ensure the project HSE objectives are met. • Prepare Health and Safety (H&S) Specification Document. • Carry out gap analysis of the Contractor’s Health and Safety Plan in comparison to the prepared Health and Safety Specification. •Assess and Approve Contractor’s Health and Safety Plan prior to commencement of construction including but not limited to CVs of HSE Officers, risk assessment, safe work procedures, training, method statements, general required documentation etc. • Conduct site inspections weekly and issue reports at least fortnightly during the construction phase (Reports shall include executive summary, walk through inspection findings, documentation audit findings, non-compliance and proposed remedial actions with photographic evidence, contractor safety statistics, continued assessment of HSE Plan etc) • Input in project risk assessment by identifying HSE risks, proposing appropriate risk responses etc. • Attend site meetings at the frequency specified by the Project Managers • Chair and minute the HSE Meeting with contractors HSE Representatives • Issue notices to contractors if applicable contraventions, improvements, prohibitions etc. • Conduct safety management audits at least once a quarter. • Ensure all HSE required close out documentation are in place • Prepare HSE Operations and maintenance report • Assist in other Close out documentation preparation as required • Prepare the HSE File . • Monitor implementation of the Health and Safety Plan in accordance with the H&S specification and recommend stop orders where necessary. • Facilitate incident investigations in the event of an incident/accident/injury to identify the root cause. •The use of Hammertech platform for reporting (DLR) Show less
