This position incorporates working with the project team to execute the daily management and supervision of the preconstruction, construction and landscaping stages of the project. A few examples of the activities that come across my desk include budget forecasting, managing tenders, contract administration, adhering to and enforcing Environmental Health and Safety standards, and most importantly, building strong relationships with contractors, consultants and key stakeholders such as government organisations and customers. These responsibilities are carried out whilst also contributing to the project team on a general supportive role.

Raw Space is a retail business that was spread between a physical retail store, online as well as being a national wholesale distributor. Being involved with the stores organic growth from a single small shop to a business that distributed original, manufactured stock across Australia allowed me to gain experience in managing high levels of responsibility; building and developing relationships with retailers, manufacturers and customers and also managing a store through several different mediums.

This work experience formed part of my degree and saw me working full-time in a professional environment over a four-month period. A good introduction to working in a professional environment. I was able establish and accomplish goals, work in a team whilst furthering my learning experience in development and planning.
