I worked with Henry as we transitioned and developed the Career Mentor role in Career and Internship Services at Ensign College. He was always willing to learn and had very specific ideas about how to improve the role and improve the processes the Career Mentors followed. Shortly after he began working as a Career Mentor, I gave him a big assignment as part of a team project and an hour later he had organized and streamlined the process for completing the project as a team effort. I was very impressed with the initiative he showed. Henry is detail-oriented and values order. He saw me working to organize office supplies and quickly asked if he could help. He has great ideas and works hard to see them to fruition. He took the initiative again to design a plan and even found some containers to buy to organize the materials. Henry is a delight to work with because he is happy and optimistic. He is not afraid to work hard on a project and takes great satisfaction in a job well done. I am grateful to have been able to work with him and learn from him. I can recommend Henry without reservation. He is a great employee and an even greater young man!

I've had the pleasure of working with Henry Silva during the past year and have found him to be a bright, energetic, hard-working team member. In addition to his "day job" as a career mentor at Ensign College, he drove a big project: the re-design and reinvention of our office space for our employment center. This required a lot of extra work, communicating across multiple teams, creatively utilizing resources and building consensus around the plan. It also required some artistic skills to pull things together in a cohesive way. It was overwhelmingly successful and has been recognized by many other departments on campus as a transformational win for the team. His work was excellent! As a career mentor, Henry has demonstrated a talent for connecting with people in a way that encourages and empowers them. He is giving and willing to help others.
