Subject of the MSc thesis was practical adhesion between siliconized release liner and hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives. In the study, the influence of the properties of the release liner, as well as the properties of the pressure-sensitive adhesives on the release force are examined. The work includes hand coating of paper with pigment coating and silicone coating, application of hot-melt adhesives as well as performing peel tests. In addition, contact angle measurements and examination of surface roughness are performed. The work is performed mainly at the Mondi Steti mill in Czech Republic, where I have got experience in working at paper mill, and to some degree at Tampere University of Technology.

    • Project Research Analyst / Designer / Project Worker
      • Mar 2009 - Dec 2010

As Project Research Analyst (03/2009 – 01/2010 ) and designer (02/2010 – 12/2010) in R&D group my task was planning and carrying out research, development and investigation projects, recognizing in-house needs of improvement and developing in-house actions. In addition to abovementioned tasks, also planning and carrying out research, development and investigation projects, recognizing in-house needs of improvement and developing in-house actions. As Project Worker 19/2011 – 03/2012 (part-time) my task was participating a project of reforming register of harms and accidents (VARO) of TUKES as well as maintaining VARO register.

    • Senior Researcher
      • Nov 2005 - Dec 2008

I was working in a multidisciplinary project developing new dielectric materials (polymers) for use in high voltage technology applications. I examined dielectric properties of polymers with theoretical chemistry/physics methods in co-operation with experimentalists in power engineering at TUT and polymer researches at VTT, as well as researches in theoretical physics at the department of physics at TUT.
