As part of my role as the hospital I am in charge of checking patients in and out for their appointment, using the epr system. On a daily I use the epr system, I use softwares such as revenue cycle, power chart, HIM tracking, pm office. On a daily I am also answering phone calls of patients enquiries, and helping them with their enquiries. As well as checking patients in and out I’m also booking appointments on e-referral system, I will have to put the enquiry across to the doctors for them to accept and then I can book the appointment, unless the doctor says the appointment is not needed then it will be cancelled using this system. When doing clinical prep, I have to get the notes ready for the clinics that are running the next day. This consists of tracking the notes and collecting them from medical records, and putting the notes together into the trolley for the next day. Show less
