  Sri Thenandal Films has recently branched out into theatre and live events under the banner of Thenandal Entertainment. It is headed by Hema Rukmani daughter in law of late Director Mr Rama Narayanan. They have actively taken to promoting theatre and live entertainment in Tamil Nadu. Their first production was Chillu (a futuristic Tamil play), which received accolades from Padmasri Kamal Hassan, Siva Karthikeyan and numerous accomplished folks from the film fraternity. Their second production Pattanathil Bootham (a Karthik Raja musical) starring Nasser,Manobala, Prasanna, Chinmayi, Rahul Nambiar and others was an enchanting experience involving music, dance and stunts amidst 180 degree LED display that added more grandeur. Chillunu Oru Concert, a musical night with Rahul Nambiar, Shakthishree Gopalan, Anitha Karthikeyan, Ranjith, Aalaap Raju and his band was their next event. It was an evening filled with colours which mesmerized the audience .Hiphop Tamizha Adhi was seen with Actor Vishal and Director Sundar C at the show. A part of the proceeds were donated to The Sugun Thomas Foundation, Chennai. Show less
