(1200-1400 beds shelter ages 10-17) • Emergency Influx Sites (EIS) on behalf of Southwest Keys providing technical assistance and best practices training to private contractors and Federal entities providing care to UCs on behalf of ORR across the nation. • Dallas, TX - Kay Bailey Hutchison center EIS (2300 beds males 13-17) • Albeon, Michigan -Starr Commonwealth EIS (240 beds all ages and genders) • Pecos, TX- PCC EIS (2200 beds all ages) • El Paso, Tx - Fort Bliss EIS (10,000 beds appraisal support). Created presentations following ORR sections and guidance to assist in face-to-face training of private vendors providing service to children in EIS sites, along with Federal volunteers. Southwest Keys South Texas Region- Assisted Youth Service Department in the creation of policy and Procedures to be used at a regional and national level. I also participated in the creation of procedures and trainings via Power Point Presentations (Virtual NEO training) for new hires. I also had the opportunity to be involved as a moderator and presenter for their virtual enhanced OJT training being conducted as distance education for new staff throughout the pandemic. Assisting Regional Director of Recreational and Vocational Department in shadowing duties in preparedness of Interim for this position. Here I was able to assist in the creation and modification of department policies and creation of Program specific lesson plans and schedules.
