Worked on a project entitled " Oleic Acid alters Clock Gene Oscillation in serum synchronized macrophages" Induced in vitro condition of NAFLD by treating HepG2 (liver cell line) with Oleic acid and then collecting the conditioned media called HepSoup after 24 hours further used to treat THP1 derived macrophages (MDMs). This mimic in vivo NAFLD condition and Liver-Monocyte interaction.After the treatment of MDMs with HepSoup samples of RNA and Protein were collectcted every 4 hours for studing clock gene oscillation.Skills acquired: Cell Culture techniques ( Handled both suspension and adherent cell lines), Real Time PCR, Western Blotting, Staining techniques ( DCFDA, ORO).
