Justin is one of the most talented people that I have ever worked with. It is extremely rare to find someone as well rounded and balanced as he is, one could only hope to get a fraction of him in most employees. He has the ability to not only see the bigger picture and strategize around it but also the ability to zoom in and execute on initiatives at a high level. He is a leader with an extremely high emotional intelligence (one of the features I admire about him most) so he connects with his team and others in ways that always brings out the best in people. However, he doesn’t just stand back and let others do the work — he leads by example, getting in the trenches and grinding out work side-by-side when need be. He is one of the most creative people I’ve met and is someone who has always pushed myself and others to new creative heights in finding the right solution. But Justin has a great analytical mind and always pays attention to the data, so if the numbers say something isn’t working then it isn’t working, no matter how good it may seem. Finding someone so balanced in their talents and skill set is very uncommon, anyone would be extremely lucky to have someone of Justin’s caliber on their team.

Justin was a well respected leader in the company and I was proud to have him on my team. He led our paid digital, social media, campus reps, and owned media initiatives while informally leading some of our larger community and messaging efforts cross functionally. Justin's ability to manage our campaigns with a holistic perspective was what made him truly effective. He thoroughly understood the interplay between brand and performance marketing and knew when either or both had to take precedence. He was a strong advocate of our users and one I could lean on for insight on audience dynamics, among many other things. His team always put our users first and that's why they loved working for him.
