  Community and mining stakeholder engagement division This is the division in DMRE where we deal daily with complaints from communities. We arrange stakeholder meetings with complainee to resolve the challenges the communities have with them. The main purpose of the division is to build good relationships between communities and the mining companies We conduct workshops to the host communities by empowering them on the importance of the Social and Labour Plans and relationship they should strive for with the mining companies in their doorstep Municipalities and mining companies are also empowered in terms of the importance of consultation with the host communities Show less
