Helio is a fantastic Information Architect. He has a fantastic ability to discover and capture relevant information, and to organize it into a coherent whole. His ability to "boil down" different pieces of information allows him to be able to draw informed conclusions and suggest relevant improvements. However, once you begin working with Helio you will discover that he has an incredible breadth of knowledge about many topics, including computers, software, user interfaces, databases, web sites, HTML, macros, Excel, etc. This makes him a great person with whom to brainstorm when seeking solutions or insight into many corporate issues. His value will be far greater--and his impact more far reaching--than you may expect. Helio is an outstanding addition to any team. He is an incredibly dedicated, thorough person who will truly go out of his way to deliver above and beyond. I would hire him without reservation for any number of roles, and I hope to someday work with him again.

I had the pleasure of working with Helio in a complex portal project. Although Helio started as the infrastructure lead for the project, he quickly became invaluable in all aspects of the project, from managing client expectations to managing the more junior resources to doing database development with SQL. His impeccable design and documentation skills garnered great reviews from the client and helped boost the client's confidence in the group's delivery capabilities. Helio's calm demeanor and his organized approach helped ensure that deployment activities went smoothly and helped the team go through multiple deployments with ease. In all, his unique combination of troubleshooting skills, organizational abilities, in-depth database knowledge, and excellent self-starting skills would be a great asset to any team. I sincerely hope our paths cross again in future.
