Helga is a highly skilled, structured and innovative project lead and event organizer. With her sharp eye for detail, great project overview and clear communication towards stakeholders, it was a great pleasure to work together with Helga. And with her creative ideas, Helga ensured that the conference was like no other! She organized the first edition of the National Conference on Broad Prosperity, meaning that there was no clear project structure up front. This, however, was no problem whatsoever for Helga as she set up the full structure (planning, logistic, project management, sign up infrastructure, etc.) for the event and was extremely flexible in adapting to circumstances and changing plans. With that she not only successfully organized and coordinated the first edition of this event, she also laid the infrastructure for many more successful editions in the future. All in all, it was a great pleasure working together with Helga!

The goal of Driemiljoen was to actualize the potential of young people in the society. The largest activity organised by Driemiljoen was the first edition of the Studentenhaver Festival (2008). It existed of seven social projects ranging from theatre courses for young people from refugee centres, to dining in the dark and a party that stimulated the senses (with aroma jockeys and floor vibration). The latter activities were fully accessible for people with a handicap. The projects were organised in cooperation with the Dutch Red Cross, the Municipality of Amsterdam, the University of Amsterdam, Stichting de Vrolijkheid and twelve large student unions.
