  Director of NCF Comedy - Run regular comedy nights and events in and around the Midlands and organiser of the Nottingham Comedy Festival. As of January 2018 I now also have a base in Newcastle so am able to start running events in the North East as well as the Midlands.I co-found the Nottingham Comedy Festival in June 2009 and have since gone on to run 10 successful festivals featuring a wide range of comedians from brand new to the top TV names. My aim is to not only provide some fantastic shows but to be able to take comedy out into the community and to help others. We also make sure there is a wide variety of acts in the festival so up-and-coming artists have the opportunity to develop their art. The festival itself is not-for-profit and is open access so all comedy acts are welcome to perform.In 2010 I expanded the festival to include NCF Comedy which has enabled us to organise and run shows around the country outside the festival week, We again make sure we give up-and-coming acts an opportunity to perform but also hold full professional line-ups with fantastic acts. We pride ourselves in giving the personal touch to everything we do. In 2015, one of our shows, The £1 Comedy Night, won best Open Mic Night in the East Midlands and in 2016 the same show won Best Open Mic Night in the Midlands Comedy Awards.In 2015 we started to run shows at other comedy festivals around the Midlands. Including The Leicester Comedy Festival and The Derby Comedy Festival. In both of these festivals we have run a large number of shows in a short space of time, whilst keeping to our aim of giving opportunities to all levels of act. I have also been an adviser for the Derby Comedy Festival and the Rotherham Comedy Festival.
