Research and developmental work • National single-case study on effect of phonological treatment • Testing • Intervention • Data management and -analysis • Reporting results for international scientific journal • Presenting results, posters or oral presentations at international conferences • Principal Investigator for the eastern Danish team in the TOPS-project (Timing of Primary Surgery), an international multicenter RCT (randomized controlled trial). • Responsible for testing speech and for reporting speech -, orthodontic -, surgical -, audiological data. • Yearly training and calibration in phonetic transcription, naturalistic listening, perceptual evaluation of VP-symptoms (Velopharygeal Symptoms) (from 2005 – 2019). • Speech analysis for the international multicenter RCTs Scandcleft and TOPS (1-2 times a year from 2011 – 2019). • Transcription of deviant and normal babbling and speech, age 18 months to 10 years. Clinical work: • Diagnosis and treatment of speech and language disabilities for children with cleft palate aged 10 months to adult. • Phonetic transcription, perceptual and phonological analyses. • Phonological and articulatory intervention incl. parents involvement (engaging parents). • Counseling parents and local SLTs on early language development, primary vocabulary and consonant inventory • Treatment planning in multidisciplinary team (together with plastic surgeons, ENTs (ear, nose and throat doctors) orthodontists, psychologists and nurses). • Local IT-consultant for implementation and management of the Danish Healthcare Platform (Sundhedsplatformen) Show less
