  My daily responsibilities at The Mulberry School of English are: • Preparing European students ages 15-26 for their Trinity certificate. • Setting up tasks and completing lesson plans to provide student centered tasks. • Introducing new vocabulary, lexis and sentence functions. • Providing students with daily speaking practice and presenting the meaning, form and pronunciation. • Encouraging the students to gain more confidence when speaking English and helping them with presentations on a variety of topics. • Tutoring students in preparation for Trinity GESE and SEW exams.

  During my time at Joy Bilingual School, I delivered lessons that were consistent with the schools instructional program, as well as this I addressed the different aspects of communication, such as speaking, listening and writing. I also ensured that I employed a variety of teaching techniques that adapted to the class’s ability.   During the summer of 2013 and 2014 I worked for the Language Study Centre in Leeds as an activity leader, taking groups of European school children across cities in England to improve their knowledge of the English language. As an activity leader, with responsibility of looking after over a hundred 15-17 year olds, I co-ordinated activities to ensure the students got the most out of their summer in Britain. During the summer of 2013 and 2014 I worked for the Language Study Centre in Leeds as an activity leader, taking groups of European school children across cities in England to improve their knowledge of the English language. Barkers and The Ring Workshop

  I was honoured to be requested by the manager of boutique jewellery shop Barkers’ to be a sales consultant for her new store, recognising my ability to create sales and to be a positive public-face of her fledgling company. Working at Barker’s for over a year whilst studying for my A levels, I quickly gained more responsibility; training new members of staff, merchandising and creating displays and using my fashion knowledge to create link sale opportunities to increase revenue from trade.
