I taught Helena during her UXDI immersive. If there is anyone who loves bringing people together and is really good at it is Helena. She is a force of nature and a great team player! She is resilient and committed to delivering great work and never intimidated by any challenge and this is the reason why she learns very fast and she is a real contribution to her team. She is very adaptable to change and complexity and I've witnessed this skill from day 1. I think these are great qualities for a UXer to have. Helena is also very empathetic and thorough when it comes to research and very creative and open-minded when approaching the ideation phase. She has a good understanding of the fundamentals of visual design and she is so passionate about UX and design that I have no doubt she will do so well. I so look forward to seeing what you're creating for your career Helena!

Helena was essential to the team and contributed significantly to the development of quality products during her time at Liberty. Her (very) strong work ethic matches her problem solving skills. Helena always assumed a leadership role and was a dedicated and goal-oriented colleague. I enjoyed working with her during her time at Liberty. Muy profesional. Seriamente.

12 week immersive course that includes 5 design sprints- both individual and group projects and a final client project. All of these projects follow an agile framework that include various different methodologies such as interviews, competitor analysis, design studios, prototyping, usability testing. Alta Flora- Client Project- Health Mobile App- Teamwork. Tasked with looking into Alta Flora’s app, Eva to look at the current features of the app in order to increase its intuitiveness. Introduced new features and a new onboarding process for some clarity when first using the app. Zimbabwe Youth Biodiversity Network- Concept Project- Charity Website- Individual. Redesigned ZYBD’s website making it reactive to various viewports (mobile, tablet, desktop) as well as creating a Design System encompassing all UI elements. This project was then designed on Webflow. CityMapper- Concept Project- Travel Mobile App- Teamwork. Challenged with creating a new feature for Citymapper app for the post pandemic world. This project resulted in a “Discover” feature that would encourage users to learn and discover things in their local area. Trottinettes- Concept Project- E-commerce Website- Individual. Challenged with an E-commerce project where I redesigned the website for a local toy shop in North London keeping the “local toy shop feel”. For this project I conducted interviews, researched competitors, gathered insights, identified the current problems faced by Trottinettes. DearMe- Concept Project- App Solution- Individual. First UX project which started with identifying a colleague's personal pain point- which was the lack of motivation to keep up with her diary even though she gets really frustrated when she doesn't. This project was then extended to other users who also write diaries and gathered insights about what inspires and motivates users to keep diaries or journals. Show less
