Diego Cantor, Ph.D.

Helen is a highly skilled professional and a force to be reckoned with in terms of her drive, resilience, and adaptability in the fast-paced startup world. Her background in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering is just the beginning. We worked together at Ezra from 2018 to 2021 and during this time she reported to me (CTO) and later on to David Girard (VP of Operations). Helen was the first Biomedical Engineer that I hired and we were very fortunate to have her at Ezra. Thanks to her expertise in Biomedical Engineering, she had a direct impact on shaping our commercial product and played a pivotal role in securing an FDA clearance for our AI technology. Her efforts led to a well-deserved promotion to the role of Director of Data Science in 2019. In this position, she implemented essential practices and controls to ensure our AI's safety and effectiveness, working closely with our regulatory team to maintain compliance, data privacy, and good engineering practices. It's no surprise that she earned the "Employee of the Year" recognition in 2020. She's a fantastic leader, a team player, a creative thinker, and someone who eagerly takes on big challenges. Any company would be lucky to have her on their team.
