Helen is an incredibly intelligent, passionate and empathetic individual. With high levels of attention to detail and consistency, she is a top tier communicator. She understands the importance of language and the impact that large or small decisions can make when writing, this makes her a powerful writer and a high impact marketer. She’s a great people person and understands what really matters which makes her a fantastic team member and colleague. I’ve learnt so much from Helen from 2 years working together, it’s been an absolute pleasure!

At Cognassist, we do a lot of work to break down the science behind what we do and how we help educators and employers to support neurodiversity and cognitive differences through our platform. This new role is a natural progression and an acknowledgment of what I've already done as Content & PR Manager.I've created content that speaks to neurodiversity, explains how cognitive assessments work and drives a data-driven approach in organisations. It's been a steep learning curve and I empathise with support teams and ED&I professional who are on the same journey I'm on.But it's my role to make that learning curve feel less steep and break down the science and research for you. I'm here to make the journey to understanding and embracing neurodiversity that much easier for those of us who don't have a PhD in this stuff. We'll take this journey together. And whether you have access to a digital cognitive assessment or not, myself and the whole Cognassist team are on a mission to make sure every diverse mind can thrive. Join us! Show less

Cognassist is constantly developing its Content and Communication Strategy to raise awareness of neurodiversity and help educators to enable all learners to succeed. I have seen our influence grow and the difference our work makes to education providers and learners alike. I help to share the vision and achievements of Cognassist in breaking down the barriers to education.

My first role at Cognassist involved writing the learning strategies that we provide to neurodiverse learners on a monthly basis. Each strategy is tailored to a learner's level of study and identified needs. To effectively support learners, the strategies are created using very exact briefs and support from our team of neuropsychologists. From this work, I gained further insight into the company and the important support it provides. This only made me more passionate about the working for Cognassist, and I sought out further opportunities within the company. Show less

New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Russia, Germany and Belgium - you name it! Taking the Trans Siberian through Russia and meeting a local imam teaching English to children in Indonesia were real highlights. I see this experience to be as valuable as any full-time employment I could have taken in the same period, and it made me a better person for it.
