  This role primarily involves coaching members of staff to improve and support their classroom performance. I also support the English and PE faculties and line manage SEND.

  I became an AST within science and worked with both Fairfax and other schools such as the International school on effective science teaching. The result of which being all schools and teachers that I worked with increased their students' examination proformance. In particular one school by 250%. I also advised had the opportunity to advise on key stage 3 science curriculum within the QCA and speak at the annual AST science conference on engaging leakers and effective formative assessment in science education.

• Learning to Learn coordinator and KS3 Coordinator

  This role involved starting from scratch a new learning to learn programme for KS3 students with the aim to produce effective independent learners. The impact this programme had was shown by increased examination performance. I was also KS3 coordinator for science. I introduced more rigor into the curriculum, with the result of improved KS3 results, effective assessment for learning, fab packs across school, improved data analysis to enable effective intervention.
