  As Head of School (Infant site) I was an integral member of the senior leadership team for the large primary school (Ofsted rated Outstanding). The role involved strategic leadership and management of the three-form entry EYFS and KS1 site, including a 52 place nursery school provision. Key responsibilities included curriculum design, implementation and monitoring; recruitment and performance management of teachers, TAs and office staff; data analysis (predominately EYFS and KS1); pupil progress meetings; supporting the school’s SENDco; reporting to governors; supporting and mentoring NQTs, RQTs and experienced teachers; maintaining and developing parent and other stakeholders relationships; worship lead and designated lead safeguard.
