Bio
Mr Midgley
Helen is thorough, committed and hardworking. As Head of General Studies I had a number of teachers co-opted to my team, they usually dragged their feet. I had none of this from Helen. Helen made sure all her classes had the best from her. She ensured that every lesson was planned, taught and assessed to the same level. Helen was very much a team player and I would recommend her to any team!

Helen is one of the most dedicated teachers I have had the pleasure to work with. We worked together within the art, design and technology learning centre in Knutsford Academy for 15 years where Helen fulfilled a number of roles ranging from academic management to pastoral. Whatever the situation Helen has always placed the academic and emotional wellbeing of her students at the core of her teaching leading her to tirerlessly tailor lessons and schemes of work to individual needs. As a colleague, Helen has not only been supportive of those around her but always keen to seek and respond to feedback in an open and positive manner. I would unreservedly recommend Helen as a positive asset to any educational establishment.
