Dr. Helen Hsu and I served together in various capacities in the Asian American Psychological Association (AAPA). I truly believe that Dr. Hsu is one of the most brilliant and passionate psychologists in the field. I have been fortunate to witness her leadership firsthand and her passion for advancing AAPA to become a successful, inclusive, and advocacy-driven organization. In working with her on several projects, I have observed her wealth of knowledge and her commitment to a myriad of issues related to social justice and multicultural psychology. She truly cares about the psychological health of all people and understands the importance of educating others on issues like identity development and microaggressions, in order to promote optimal psychological health for all. Perhaps most importantly, she is a delight to work with - she has a delightful personality; she is highly responsible but is flexible; and she is able to make work enjoyable. Any organization or workplace would be lucky to have the opportunity to work with her.

Dr. Helen Hsu was my first ever Clinical Supervisor at the City of Fremont Youth and Family Services (YFS) when I was an MFT trainee. I have known Dr. Hsu as my clinical supervisor since 2016-2017. Dr. Helen since then, has been my mentor after I finished my practicum at YFS. She has seen me start as a trainee, grow as a clinician, and enter leadership positions within the field. Dr. Helen has been a catalyst, to help me reach my self-actualization in the personal and professional domains of my life. I am extremely grateful to have her in my life. Dr. Helen is extremely diverse as a Psychologist. She is an encyclopedia in all domains of the field. I remember the times we would be talking about cases and she would provide me a resource for any case I brought up so effortlessly. She would not only have tools to improve my continued education in that area, but she would also have amazing resources for the client and their families as well. Her passion and drive to fight and advocate for social justice are extremely inspiring. I still remember when we began supervision before we could even talk about clients, our first few encounters were about the privileges and countertransference I bring into the therapy room. If anyone had to ask me who would be my role model in the field? She would be the first person I would talk about. I was an extremely introverted extrovert when I was her supervisee. However, over the past 4 years, Dr. Helen always taught me
