Helen was a top tier performer in her studies at the Academy of Art University. Helen was in three of my classes and consistently produced A work. Her visual design skills are stunning; she is able to scope work projects to deliver everything she promises; she is resourceful; she is a team player and easy to work with. I recommend Helen in the capacity of a Art or Creative Director. She is first class.

Helen Han-Yi was a student in my Advanced Digital Imaging class 2 years ago, and since that time I have shown her work to my current classes as examples of strong technique and great design. She was passionate about her work, always creative in it's design and employed fastidious workmanship. I always remember students that throw themselves into their work to this degree. All of her work had weight, texture and drama. Composition was strong and color was subtle. Helen combined painterly illustrative skills with an unusual sense of typography, design and layout. Always seated in the front row, Helen was easy to get to know, because of her outgoing manner and her enthusiasm for design. She was also quick to respond to questions posed to the class at large, and contributed greatly to any class discussions. I made my students work hard----they were asked to create almost 25 composited assignments, some photographic, and some more illustrative. I wanted to challenge them to create visually engaging images, stay up-to-date, finish on deadline, and present their work in a professional manner during critiques. Helen was at the top of my list, and has everything it takes to be a valuable team player in any creative environment. I have followed her progress online and am amazed how she has grown in her professionalism.
