My role as a graduate trainee started off by partaking in a project that the broker had been working on for the past few years. Initially I was transferring client information from their old CRM system to their new one. My role has since grown from data inputting to controlling and maintaining the system. Predominately, my role involves improving the productivity of the broking team and maintaining data accuracy. I have also played an integral part in improving the new system to best serve the brokers needs. I continue to help develop the system as the broker has now almost fully moved across to that system and away from the old one, much of my role in this involves stakeholder management.I have developed my knowledge of insurance products and skills during this time as much of my role involved working with client data including all of their insurance products. Since September 2021, I have headed up the newly formed CRM team which continues to improve the productivity of the broker. The team has grown again since then and I now head up a team of four.
