I had the pleasure of working with Helen when we used her app Corporate Connect as part of the UCC 31st Annual Business Conference. In working with Helen I found her very helpful, enthusiastic and friendly. Helen flawlessly managed the interactive networking at the conference. I felt Corporate Connect was a great way too boost networking at our event and with the technological advancements of late I have no doubt that Corporate Connect will become even more relevant and popular in the near future. I highly recommend working with Helen!

Strategy, Operations & Product Management: - Identified a development gap between the architecture and commercial product teams and pitched the need for a new cross functional team to the global leadership of the Data Office. Was made product owner of the new team of 10 - 15 which translated a complex conceptual architecture into an easy to understand commercial product which solution teams could engage with. This resulted in the development of over 30 re-usable data pipelines and patterns which reduced onboarding time for new data assets from months to less than 2 weeks.- Continually utilized data to pitch the prioritization order of features built. Weighing up immediate client needs with benefits of building for future efficiency. In the first year, we launched 5 new solutions on the platform while also reducing the onboarding time for future solutions by over 50%.- Managed the creation of a Sharepoint site to house the full library of data pipelines with all capabilities, training tools and guides needed to implement the products. This became the go to tool for the sales team when pitching our products.- Created the Go-to-market strategy for the Data Pipeline products built by our team and managed the progress over time including a combination of presentations, webcasts and existing client reviews. Leadership : - Co-ordinated and ran workshops with other groups in the Data Office to define best practices, ways of working and enable the development of an integrated plan. Regularly pitch to and work directly with senior stakeholders in the data office and throughout EY. - Was requested to be a Counselor ( EY’s official mentorship program ) for a new manager on the team. Helped them get to grips with working in EY and what was expected as a manager in their role. We also worked together on their career development plan and set out a step plan and tasks to achieve their goals. Show less

Graduate Founders is an initiative started becasue we found that graduates in Ireland and around the world had amazing products and ideas but often struggled on how to verbal it and pitch it to others. We wanted to help them gain these skills with a unique two day workshop dedicated to helping improve soft skills in order to improve presentations, pitching, selling, and general public speaking. In this we hoped to give participants the confidents and skills to start their new companies with confidence. I worked alongside Connor Murphy (Datahug founder), Jayne Ronayne (KonnectAgain co-founder), and Barry Ronayne to establish Graduate Founders with the ambition of encouraging more graduates to start a business.
