Develop and deliver a suite of support for the autistic & ADHD adult community throughout NW London. We pride ourselves on collaboration with the neurodivergent community and subscribe passionately to 'nothing about us without us', the NWL project will be a series of collaborations and co-production with the autistic community to ensure the new services meet the local communities needs.Train and manage a dedicated team to deliver a suite of individually tailored packages of support, monthly support groups, workshops, and training for autistic adults without Intellectual Disability, parents, carers and supporters, and professionals in NW London.Some of the areas of work within my role are:• Oversee and manage the projects, groups, training, and staff within the adult autism team • Collaborate with the Neurodiverse community to provide services they require• Deliver training to organisations, education facilities, NHS, Local Government, families, and the Neurodiverse community• ASC screening• Liaise with Social Care and Mental Health Teams, and feed into the staff meetings• Participate in and support Neurodiverse Adults to attend, engage and feed into local government autism boardsThe NWL services will encompass:• Individual assistance for autistic adults to support with executive function challenges, • Transition to Adulthood workshop.• Groups for Parents, Partners, and Supporters of Autistic Adults to develop their skills and knowledge.• Forum for professionals working with the autistic community to network, share information and develop their autism skills and knowledge.• Provide training through our 'Empowering Project' delivered by experienced professionals, autistic adults, and parents and carers of autistic adults where appropriate.I deliver support through specialised coaching, using compassion focussed and trauma-informed approaches whilst specialising in Executive Function support.Working with LA’s to implement the 2021 Autism Strategy.
