  Graduated from School of Computing (Computer Engineering) of NUS - a Singapore university that is ranked consistently as one of the world's top universities, and inspired by the Human Resource Director of NCS whom I had a chance to talk to, I joined NCS as an application consultant. Started as a developer, I sharpened my skills in backend Java and some front-end coding. I gained experience in Development, Production support, and Testing of a big government system. I learnt well that Teamwork is very important. Promoted shortly to be involved in the project as Business Analyst, I gained more experience in project requirement gathering, team-member management, client communication, and timeline management. I think I was lucky to have a good boss, lovely colleagues and great team that love me and are pleasant to work with. I learnt and devoted all my best to the team and the project. Sleepless nights during project development brought me closer to the team and my customers. Farewell to the company after nearly 5 years was a hard decision to make.   As a web design and front-end developer, I've worked on the uOpen exchange web project for about a year as a freelancer. I had chance to sharpen and apply most of my favorite skill sets that I had self-learned, which includes my HTML slicing skills, Javascript coding, CSS styling, Ruby on Rails backend language. Skills applied: - HTML - Photoshop - Javascript - CSS - Ruby on Rails What I had achieved during the project was not only monetary return, but also my own happiness for doing what I loved to do beside my other daily job, it is complemented with the client's testimonials and compliments which helped to strengthen my portfolio. A lot more contacts came in after that to seek for my service. It was a total happy experience that I had achieved.
