I have had the pleasure of working with Helen while leading a turn around as GM of HD Architectural Products. The task at hand was extremely challenging and Helen's role as a HR partner to the Architectural Products business was extremely critical to its transitional success during the three years that we had worked together. Helen was completely supportive across a number of HR functions that included remote assistance in the team rebuild, where her operational and professional insights to key appointments were paramount in re-building the right team. Helen's support was unwavering in the much difficult process of team restructure, one of which included a 457 Visa exit. Additionally, guidance relating to managing under performance and facilitation in team training was valuable in building the competency of the team. During the early stages of the turn around, HD Architectural Products relocated to head office and Helen's involvment in the appointed project team was respected for ensuring the right process was followed in HR areas across team re-engagment and cultural integration. I cannot praise Helen enough for her utmost dedication and support during this time and without hesitation, would recommend Helen as an outstanding HR professional.

Helen provided HR support to the business units I managed for Hunter Douglas Ltd. These units were based firstly in Queensland and then Melbourne and operated remotely from Hunter Douglas' head office in Sydney. Helen was instrumental in our recruitment and selection for sales and business support roles and her ability to provide remote support in these areas was a key factor in the building of a strong team at our Melbourne site. Her guidance and recommendations, and practical support at interviews enabled us to recruit a team that was a good fit both for the technical requirements of our roles, but also a good fit within the overall team and business culture. Helen provided advice to myself as General Manager and to other senior managers on general policies and performance management across many areas of the business including customer service, warehouse, and sales. She coached direct reports with people policy and practices and provided assistance with restructuring implementation during the consolidation of our Melbourne business into the Sydney site. In addition to the above, Helen facilitated various learning and development programs including Leadership Development, Presentation Skills and Conflict Resolution. In working with Helen for over five years, I have the greatest respect for her abilities and her calm and professional manner in all instances. To be able to rely on her advice and support was wonderful and enabled me to move forward with confidence in the recruitment and management of my team. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Helen for any role in Human Resources, Recruiting, or associated fields. She will be an outstanding asset to whomever she works with. Peter Hogg
