      Along with medical billing I was in charge of all our database maintenance, including electronic data interchange with insurance companies and clearing houses. I created reports on an as-needed basis and upgraded forms and reports as it became necessary. I had extensive customer contact not just with our customers, the medical offices, but also with their customers the patients, as well as insurance companies. I also dealt with our technical support company if issues arose that were beyond my ability to correct. In addition I helped to create better workflows for greater efficiency as well as researching billing practices and issues as they arose.
