  I am an Academic Counselor for a group of diverse high school students interested in pursuing health care careers. I provide instruction to the students in the areas of career and college readiness and co-teach a dual enrollment FYE course. Additionally, I organize guest speakers, field trips and other activities to expose students to various healthcare professions and encourage them to enroll in higher education preferably in a health care related major.
