Designed and tested ICs used in bio-tech research activities: Designed a circuit to increase the data storage capacity for a digital heart rate variability system. The design was done in VHDL and the chip was under fabrication with IBM 0.18µm technology. Designed and fabricated a 2.4GHz double-balanced passive mixer in TSMC 0.25*m Technology. Worked on 3G Wireless Modem SOC ASIC Verification: Carried out module level verification test on critical HARQ (Hybrid Automatic repeat Request) and IRBUFFER (Incremental Redundancy Buffer) modules which are included in R5/R7 HSDPA Chain in the 3G wireless modem project. Documented detailed verification plans on HARQ and IRBUFFER modules complying with the concurrency requirements of HSDPA. Created behavior models to emulate the behavior of the pre and post processors to interface with HARQ module. Generated PERL scripts for creating tests, running simulations and regressions, and collecting code coverage as well. Interfaced with the system group developing functional test strategy. RF Hardware Design Engineer Supported system group to develop the calibration and characterization test plans. Debugged and developed test strategy.; Constructed a test system to extract heart rate and respiration signals using Doppler principles in a wireless hardware environment. Developed a hardware implementation to cancel feedback in cellular repeaters by adaptive signal processing. Show less
