Natura is also known for combining natural and structural elements in artful ways, creating aesthetically pleasing and ecologically rich solutions that enhance both the beauty and impact of the work generated. Beyond her physical landscape architectural works, Natura excels at communicating important concepts through her artworks and writing. By far the most well known is Natura's Root Systems of Prairie Plants diagram. With a goal to broadly promote the benefits of incorporating ecosystem thinking, her work has encouraged many people around the world to more fully consider the power of our historic native environments, especially the elements found below the earth’s surface.
