Working in the NOAA Fisheries Office of Policy, I manage the Policy and Administration team. Our team members: • Manage the operations of the Marine Fisheries Advisory Committee and its subcommittees. • Support the NOAA Fisheries Leadership Council, their meetings, and projects. • Respond to requests from Congress and stakeholders and draft policy papers on a variety of fisheries and marine resource management issues. • Lead national tribal liaison work to address and resolve fisheries issues and implement E.O. 13175, “Consultation and Coordination with Indian Tribes.” • Lead our agency work supporting America the Beautiful (also known as 30 x 30). • Provide secretariat support for the interagency Subcommittee on Aquaculture. • Support the NOAA Regional Collaboration Team effort and serve as the Regional Coordinators for two teams: the North Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. • Provide administrative and budgetary support for the entire Office of Policy.
