    • Therapeutic Counselor / Owner
      • Jan 2016 - Present

Healing Hope Counseling (HHC), LLC was established as an independent private practice therapeutic counseling agency in Jan 2016. I have experience as an EMDR-HAP trained therapist utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to facilitate their healing process so they can truly thrive after traumatic events (childhood or recent, civilian or military service related. With the EMDR trauma treatment method we utilize the client's natural, innate healing ability and facilitate the reprocessing of the memory more adaptively. One pleasant surprise clients are released to know is that healing and moving on never requires the retelling of the event is to heal and move forward without the triggers and "baggage." I enjoy equipping clients to overcome any Chronic Health Challenge and/or New Diagnoses helping them reclaim, and sometimes reprioritize, their sense of purpose, clarify their identity, find joy, and find inner strength and community resources. Leading individual clients, family members and couples into deeper, healthier and happier states of mind with greater peace, contentment and joy is a pleasure to facilitate. I am blessed to watch people bloom into their best selves, find contentment and know what they want next from life and start towards that goal. Show less
