It is my pleasure to write a recommendation for Heidi. She would be an invaluable team player in whatever she pursues. From our first coffee meeting, that turned into a 2-hour conversation, Heidi has radiated positivity and genuine kindness! She exemplifies great listening, problem solving and creative thinking in everything she does! I’m fortunate to have Heidi as the Women Empowering Women (WEW) Chair because she is eager to help with a smile on her face. She also has a knack for helping others look at situations from different angles, and therefore helping others gain a broader perspective. One of the best quotes that sums up Heidi’s approach to work and life is
Carole Peters
I have had the distinct pleasure of working alongside Heidi Berardi since she joined the United Way of Greater McHenry County team in June 2019. After growing our campaigns exponentially for two years in a row, Heidi joined our team at a very critical time. She was selected to help us sustain this momentum and keep moving forward. She has worked hard to build solid relationships with the top 25 companies, grow our #iPledge campaign focused on small businesses and handle the day to day with all our workplace campaigns. In the midst of this time period, the pandemic hit and all our focus shifted to raising funds for the emergency relief fund in our county. In summer 2020, Heidi took the reins with the virtual campaign and kept driving for the results to ensure whatever was possible was managed with grace and patience. Heidi has shown up for the community over and over again the past two years and no matter the barriers came to the table with the most positive attitude. Always carrying with her a big bright smile, Heidi has passion in her heart to do good for our community. She is a true community champion with a desire to help raise awareness to help make the largest impact in our McHenry County! Thank you Heidi for always showing up, being a positive force in our community and caring deeply about Community First! Keep shining bright and being a beacon of hope for McHenry County.
