I had the privilege of working with Kate for a couple of years. What stands out most to me about Kate is her ability to jump in and get a job done. She is resourceful and willing to find answers herself. She is also quick to pick up new technologies and systems. Kate is always willing to help wherever she is needed. I can't say that I've ever heard a single complaint from her, though, she is willing to speak up if something doesn't make sense. That's a great attribute for an engineer. She is thorough and puts lots of thought into her work. Kate also has a great work ethic and is willing to put in the necessary effort to get the job done. If given the opportunity, I would hire Kate again in a heartbeat.
