I am responsible for the management of all changes to the Oracle e-Business Suite affecting HR functionality. I receive changes requested by the business to meet new requirements and will initiate changes to support more cost-effective processes. This will involve considering the best way to meet the need and manage the change through the established change gateway process. I ensure that such changes are delivered by the appropriate delivery agent so as to assure best practice, quality and Value for Money.I am responsible for liaising with the HR function and other business stakeholders to understand the business need for changes to Oracle, driven by external factors or by continuous improvement. Recently this has included a new performance management solution and implementation of the pay award. I develop and deliver solutions where there is no technical coding required. I carry out system testing and liaise with the testing team to assist in management of appropriate user acceptance testing.I support face-to-face meetings and workshops with stakeholders throughout the organisation to support changes to the Adelphi system and its associated processes.I proactively review the Oracle system and associated processes to identify opportunities for continues improvement through process simplification and the use of Oracle standard functionality.

As the HR lead of the DWP systems team I managed the roll out of their shared service solution to clients Cabinet Office and Department of Schools and Pensions. This involved delivering the end-to-end project cycle, including delivery of data workshops, sign-off for functional requirements, config for Core HR, SSHR, iRecruitment and OLM. I also contributed to SVT, supported UAT and post go-live queries. As a result of good team working both clients went live on time; Cabinet Office April 09; Department of Schools and Pensions September 09. The projects were heralded as a DWP success story for future clients. From a managerial angle, I conducted weekly team meetings, created planning reports and helped communication in general across the team between locations.I managed four members of staff, varying my style as is needed, for different attitudes and skill level. This was a very enjoyable project.
