      During this internship at the multinational company Hutchinson, which is part of the Total Group, I was able to design a prototype of a quality control system for parts (mostly pipes) manufactured within the company. This system is based on calculations using stereoscopic images (slightly separated but parallel) and, once applied to each of the 3 dimensions of the object, allows for comparison with reference values. The system was coded in Python using OpenCV and NumPy to extract images and apply various modifications to target the specific data we wanted to extract. Show less
