Heather is the public relations officer and executive assistant for The Foundation for the Compulsory Study of Genocide in Schools. Heather’s educational background is in Marketing and Public Relations. Professionally, she has more than 10 years of work experience in sales, B2B marketing and internal and external communications. Her passion for equality and human rights stems from growing up in the culturally diverse city of Montreal. She first learned about genocide in grade 4 with the Diary of Anne Frank, and soon discovered she was among a minority of people with such knowledge. Heather’s commitment to eradicating genocide cemented after visiting the Khmer Rouge’s killing fields in Cambodia, a genocide that ravaged the country and whose ramifications are still being felt today.

Some of my duties were, but weren't limited to; coordinating the sales teams, B2B marketing, sourcing, sales quotations and meetings, client retention, department liaison (between sales, imports, graphics, finance, shipping, suppliers, and customers), trade show preparation and attendance, market research, product research and development, inventory and sales reports, showroom preparation in Montréal and NYC, walk-in clients, administrative work, and customer service.
