TITLE CHANGE - BRAND PROTECTION SPECIALIST - COMPLIANCE & LEGAL DEPARTMENT | WORLDVENTURES | 2016 - CURRENT I've acted as a lead/supervisor for the Brand Protection team and took command of several major projects related to document creation, trial preparation, enforcing contractual agreements, reviews of corporate and field online content, education and training for both corporate and field, IP infringement, and online content removal, all in an effort to protect the WorldVentures brands and uphold our business strategy. Personally, I have completed research into several cases from the Federal Trade Commission and the non-profit organization Truth in Advertising well known as TIN; cases such as the FTC vs. Vemma and the FTC vs. Herbalife, to educate myself and our independent representatives on the proper ways to conduct business and advertise in a way that complies with government regulations and the WorldVentures business strategy. I also have experience with handling cases from regulatory authorities such as the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General for multiple states, Law enforcement agencies from other countries, and the Federal Trade Commission. Recently in 2019 I presented the need for social interaction with our field of independent representatives. This involved planning and implementing a strategy for our Compliance team to utilize a Facebook group. The group was created to provide quick accessibility to our Compliance team for any Compliance and policy related issues, concerns, or general questions. It is also a great way for us to provide updates directly to our field regarding what’s new in Compliance and the company as a whole. Show less
