  Virginia Equine Imaging is a small practice with owned by Dr. Kent Allen the head veterinary coordinator of both the Sydney Olympics and the World Equestrian games. The small private practice consist of about 12 employees who can all do anything, from working at the front desk handling paperwork, insurance claims, scheduling and travel arrangements to performing treatment and digital imaging such as nuclear scintigraphys and radiographs. As an employee I was cross trained in all areas of the practice: -Perform diagnostics and treatment procedures for the country’s top equine athletes -Create spreadsheets, assist with billing, record keeping and ordering supplies -Assisted with preparation, planning and execution of a seminar exceeding $35,000 for The International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology
