  My job was to work with interviews taken with company archivists and code them for relevant themes and ideas relating to their jobs. It gave me experience adding quantitative rigor to qualitative data which was an incredible experience, but also the content of the interviews were of huge value to me as at that time an aspiring librarian. While what was said in them is confidential, reading what archivists at top companies were saying helped to inspire me greatly in my own perspectives on the use of archives and libraries. Also part of the program was the start of a day camp once a week to help immigrated children interact in the community, learn about their new home, and be immersed with English speaking staff and children in order to help maintain what they've learned through the school year.
