• In this role I have also taken on the responsibility of creating, reviewing, and tracking all departments’ individual goals in alignment with hotel goals set forth by the Executive Committee. I am held accountable for representing the General Manager in his absence and ensuring all requests, inquiries, and site visits are handled in the highest professional manner. Delegation and follow up of responsibilities from the Executive Committee to all other leaders is crucial to this position. My responsibilities include guest problem resolution, allocating and addressing employee concerns, interacting with guests and clients, conducting employee reference checks and scheduling interviews, VIP relations, developing, formatting, proofreading, and editing a wide variety of written correspondence; including preparation of letters and reports, maintaining executive committee calendars including travel arrangements, recording meeting minutes, entering and retrieving information from databases, competitive benchmarking research, outside publicity tracking, and quality assessments. I have furthermore had the opportunity to be a part of several committees including: The Anniversary Party Planning Committee, Quality Improvement Teams, and the Peer Review Panel.
