I had the pleasure of working with Heather and then directly reporting to Heather. She is very knowledgeable around logistics, what right looks like and how to get there. She is always looking for ways to improve and streamline processes. She is able to come in and quickly see gaps and make improvements that immediately impact the bottom line. She enjoys teaching everyone around here about logistics, questions to ask yourself and why we do certain things and not others. She questions things that appear to be wrong and tries to understand why things were set up a certain way. She sets realistic goals and deadlines and helps her team work through issues and come up with resolutions. If she understands the vision and end result you are trying to drive, she elevates her team to achieve those results meet expectations. She has great relationships with the carriers and immediately had an impact in that space where KPIs were created to hold them accountable and QBRs were implemented to discuss issues and timely resolutions. If there is money being left on the table through a contract, rates not on file or some accounting issue, Heather will find them and work to resolve them. I would highly recommend her for any logistics role you have around strategy or process improvements you have, she will drive results.

I have worked with Heather for the past year. Her depth of knowledge in the area of transportation and logistics was always impressive to me. Not only does she have the knowledge, but she has a willingness and desire to want to teach and develop others. Her ability to form strong relationships with 3PLs from the top to the bottom of the organization allows her to effectively navigate escalations as well as uncover new opportunities to improve the partnership. She was a tremendous resource to me in learning about the contracts side of the business.
